Succeeded a Leather Manufacturing Workshop in Sumida, Tokyo

We succeeded a workshop founded in 1966 that has spent 60 years making leather goods for top brands. We have carried forward the craftsmen's skills and jobs as they are, combining them with B supply's sales capability and digital infrastructure to implement the next stage of growth.

Japan is home to craftsmanship honed over long years.
There are companies rooted in their communities, protecting jobs and building trust with business partners, that have quietly supported society.
Yet today, many of them face the major challenge of a shortage of successors.

When a business comes to an end, it is not simply that one company disappears. It means that the craftsman's skill, the wisdom accumulated on the ground, relationships with customers, and even the passion built up by founders and employees are severed as well.

We at B supply exist to carry forward such businesses and help them grow even stronger.

We are not a fund entrusted with capital from outside investors.
We are a principal investment company that acquires shares with our own capital. That is precisely why we can commit to a business for the long term, unconstrained by any short-term exit deadline.
Acquiring shares is not our goal.
Rather, it is where the real work truly begins.

In 2026, as our first transaction, we succeeded a leather manufacturing workshop in Sumida, Tokyo, that has operated continuously since 1966. Standing in a workshop where craftsmanship has been passed down for more than half a century, and witnessing the craftsmen's handiwork firsthand, we came to feel something anew.
A truly valuable business cannot be measured by the numbers on a financial statement alone.
Within it lies trust built over time, and human pride.

While respecting that value, we build up, one by one, the changes that are needed: management systems, sales strategy, recruiting, digital adoption, and operational improvement. Protecting what should be protected, and changing what should be changed. We take on both, head-on.

We go to the ground, listen to people's voices, and manage with a hands-on feel.
At the same time, we actively adopt technology and new systems.
Tradition and innovation are not in conflict.
We believe that new capabilities are precisely what is needed to carry a legacy business into the future.
