We invest B supply's own capital in small and medium-sized companies with distinctive technology, customer bases, and business assets. From sourcing to the investment decision, post-succession management support, and growth execution — this is the work of creating a business's next possibility.
After investing, we face the business as principals of its management, not as outside advisors. Depending on your experience and results, there are opportunities to join portfolio companies as a director, executive officer, or business lead.
01RESPONSIBILITIES ── What You'll Do
- Source investment candidates, run first meetings, and build relationships with owner-managers
- Research and analyze markets, industries, competitors, and financials
- Structure investment hypotheses, growth hypotheses, and risk issues
- Prepare investment memos, business plans, and valuations
- Drive due diligence, contracts, and closing
- Support management post-investment and design and execute value-up initiatives
- Hands-on support for portfolio growth — sales, hiring, digital, operational improvement, and more
- Join portfolio companies as a member of management, depending on the situation and your results
02PERSON ── Who We're Looking For
- Experience in banking, a sales-driven company, a trading company, a consulting firm, or a planning / sales / marketing role at an operating company
- Strong interest in SME investment, business succession, and owner-managed companies
- Someone who understands a business through its people and front line, not numbers alone
- Someone who goes beyond analysis and moves the business forward hands-on
- Someone who faces owners sincerely and builds long-term trust
03WELCOME ── Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience in M&A, business succession, investment evaluation, due diligence, or PMI
- Execution experience directly tied to growth — sales, marketing, hiring, or process improvement
- Experience as a business lead, or in corporate planning, new business development, or subsidiary management

Investment is not the end: you help execute what growth requires — sales, hiring, digital, operational improvement — getting deeply involved as a principal in raising business value.
A path to running a portfolio company
Depending on your experience, aptitude, and results — and the portfolio company's situation — you may join its management as a director, executive officer, or business lead. Front-line investment experience becomes the starting point of a management career.
05CONDITIONS ── Employment Terms

Full-time
Location
Osaka HQ or fully remote; depending on the situation, you may also work at the Tokyo bases of succeeded businesses
Working Hours
Base hours are 9:00–18:00, with working style open to discussion depending on the role and project.
Holidays
Two full days off per week, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and paid annual leave
Compensation
Determined based on experience, skills, and expected role. Details will be presented individually through interviews and the selection process.
Probation Period
3 months
