Management SystemsMatching App

Business Strategy for a Matching App Company

We provided end-to-end support to a wholly self-funded matching app company, starting with KPI analysis and the development of investment discipline, and extending through P&L management to mid-term business plan formulation. We established a data-driven model for investment decisions and helped build a structure that increases the reproducibility of management.

CHALLENGEChallenge

The client operates a matching app. Because it is wholly self-funded, it needed to establish its own investment discipline and chart its own growth scenario. Rather than leaving day-to-day decisions to ad hoc judgment, it needed a system for continuous, data-driven verification. It also needed to establish the management foundation that would underpin a mid-term growth vision.

APPROACHApproach

Our support progressed in three phases. First, we organized the existing KPIs and reconstructed them into a decision framework usable for both investment go/no-go decisions and subsequent monitoring. Second, based on this investment discipline, we managed the numbers while making the P&L structure visible. Third, rather than stopping at single-year figure management, we translated this into a multi-year mid-term business plan, establishing it as the standard model for decision-making under wholly self-funded operations.

IMPACTImpact

A data-driven model for investment decisions has been established, increasing the reproducibility of decision-making under wholly self-funded operations. With the mid-term business plan now in place, the company is shifting from ad hoc judgment to a management structure that can be continuously verified.
